The best of Argentine Malbec & Bottomless Empanadas
​

Join us on this journey where we will taste five very unique types of Malbec.


We will try this varietal from different regions and produced using alternative methods,
such as harvested at High and Extreme Altitude, fermented in concrete tanks 
and Organic from the famous Uco Valley in Mendoza.


Enjoy different notes of this fantastic grape that made Argentine wine world famous

Booking policy and cancellations: 

In case you cannot make it to the event, we are more than happy to relocate your booking to a new wine tasting date, please let us know as soon as possible and up to one week before the date you booked for.

As this is a high-demand event and spaces are limited, no-show or last minute cancellations will not be possible to re book as your reservation most likely would result in someone else missing the opportunity to attend to the event. Bookings are non-refundable.

Join us on this trip to Patagonia, Central and Northern Argentina with 6 different wines to understand the variety of flavours that the incredibly wide Argentina has to offer, paired with authentic dishes from each region.

 

An expert in Latin American wines will be explaining the story behind each wine and how the different weather conditions affect the making process and flavours of the grapes.

Chacarero Wine Tasting High Altitude

Extreme Altitude Wine Degustation

​

We are excited to introduce this unique High-Altitude Wine Degustation by pioneering

Argentine winemaker Agustin Lanus brought by Vinos Latinos.

 

Agustin will share with us his fascinating story and the work he is doing in the Andean highlands of northern Argentina at altitudes of up to 2,800 m.a.s.l. - the very limits where vineyards can survive.

​
 

During his tasting, we'll find out about the varietals that do well at altitude and ask him why height is so significant. We'll sample his most recent endeavour, which entails promoting the rediscovery of Criolla grapes that were first brought to Argentina by the Conquistadors for use in their community wine and are currently grown by native High Andeans in modest, family-run plots.

 

Along with hearing a beautiful tale, you'll have the chance to sample some of Agustin's most remarkable wines paired with Chacarero Authentic Argentine Empanadas and a selection of traditional desserts.
